After visiting Flywheel earlier this year (check out our post here), we knew we had to come back and checkout what else they had to offer. The other week we dropped into Robert’s FlyBeats class and got the skinny on what FlyBeats is all about.
A music driven endurance ride with an emphasis on choreography and not stats, you’ll find yourself lost in the beat for 45 minutes. The overarching vibe through class is FUN and the energy is high. Hootin’ and hollering throughout class as you pedal to the music keeps things light and energized. If competition is still your thing, you can tune into your tech pack for some accountability.
Robert was great and he made sure we were still safe and pedaling with correct form as we mixed in choreography. He also reminded us that class is what you make it. If you don’t want the stats the option is there for you. If you do, you have your tech pack to pay attention to while you ride. If you just want a great high energy endurance ride with some choreography, FlyBeats is the space for you. And don’t worry, no one is watching. The dark room and the loud music help make the studio feel like a safe space to grind out the work with a smile on your face.
The staff is also always on their A-game to make sure you find your bike and get set up properly. With all the amenities you might need, shoes, water, mints, towels, snacks, full bathrooms, soaps and sprays Flywheel Charlotte is an all-in-one place to sweat.
